We Welcome Iguana Joe’s, Scratch Kitchen Aruba, Smokey Joe’s & Iguana Cantina as New AFBA Members

The Aruba Food & Beverage Association is proud to welcome four well-known local restaurants to our growing network: Iguana Joe’s, Scratch Kitchen Aruba, Smokey Joe’s, and Iguana Cantina. Each offers a unique dining experience that reflects Aruba’s diverse and vibrant food culture.

Iguana Joe’s

A longtime favorite in downtown Oranjestad, Iguana Joe’s has held its place as one of Aruba’s most popular and critically acclaimed Caribbean restaurants for over eight years. With signature dishes like fresh mahi-mahi, coconut shrimp, and Argentine grass-fed filet mignon, it’s known not just for its bold flavors but also for the iconic Pink Iguana cocktail.

Scratch Kitchen Aruba

Located near the high-rise hotel area, Scratch Kitchen Aruba (SKA) is dedicated to freshness and creativity. With a menu that changes weekly, everything is made from scratch using seasonal ingredients. Their modern cocktail bar—complete with two large TVs showing live U.S. sports—adds a social, laid-back vibe to the dining experience.

Smokey Joe’s

Known for its open-air setting and festive energy, Smokey Joe’s is a go-to for Caribbean BBQ. With local fresh-caught fish, rotisserie chicken, and what many call the “Best Ribs in the Caribbean,” it’s a spot that celebrates big flavor in a casual setting.

Iguana Cantina

Overlooking the fountains at Paseo Herencia, Iguana Cantina offers colorful Tex-Mex dining with dishes like sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, and Aruba’s largest burritos. Signature drinks like the Sangria Swirl Margarita and desserts like the Molten Lava Cake round out the fun, flavorful experience.
